Initial Understanding
We initiate with a comprehensive call to grasp your needs and understand your situation. A summary and a service memo are drafted for your confirmation.
Workflow Process
Our team begins building a permanent file, obtains CRA account access, and reviews accounts for any issues or planning requirements.
Year End Preparation
A month before your year end, we reach out to understand any changes or special planning needed, sending an engagement letter with preset fees.
Post Year End
Upon completion, we send the processed file for your review and signing. Once you have signed off and we have filed we will also send you a confirmation of filing.
About John Paul McDonald
John Paul McDonald, the founder of JPM Partners is a Chartered Professional Accountant based in the Oakville/Burlington area for the past 15 years. As the founder and principal of a thriving accounting and tax practice, he has consistently demonstrated a solid insight for tax planning and financial management, earning the trust and respect of his clients.
His journey in a accounting began in 2010 when he established a partnership, growing it organically with a team of 14 staff.
In 2021, after 11 years in a partnership, John Paul decided to take a more personalized approach, leading to the creation of JPM Partners.
John Paul is now involved in all files and aspects of the company.
At the core of John Paul’s success is the dedication and support of his wife, Andera. The ability to balance the demands of thriving careers with a harmonious family life with their 2 daughters stands as a testament to exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
Beyond his professional endeavors, John Paul and Andrea have prioritized real estate investments, amassing a unique and extensive property portfolio. Drawing from his experiences, John Paul is passionate about sharing valuable insights and strategies with clients, helping them save money and build a secure future for retirement.
